How much must one give up to keep a relationship? This is a question I have been pondering about for a while now!!

Theres this colleague of mine, petite, pretty lass, beyond the marriageable age but yet BOUND! Bound because her brothers are choking her, they do not want a life for her but instead want to take decisions for her. And this poor lil thing is not strong enough to revolt so there she is yet in the relationship, suffocating and yet surviving.
Is life about surviving or living it to the fullest I wonder??

Look around and you will see umpteen more examples like this one. Not just the brothers, more often than not husbands, fathers and even boy friends have the tendency to have this feeling that you are property bequeathed to them so in the name of ‘taking care’, they often snatch you individuality, personality and confidence away from you.
